How to protect personal assets in a Thai marriage?

How to separate and protect my personal assets when marrying a Thai lady? I like her, but I do not want to risk my savings and assets when we would separate shortly after the marriage and she would claim a share of my assets in a divorce.

Personal assets are in a Thai marriage basically protected by Thailand marriage laws. What you could do is make a prenuptial agreement, list your personal (separate) assets and maintain a form of (yearly) accounting of your personal assets and marital assets when married. When you want to protect properties in other countries you should verify the consequences of your marriage under the laws of that country and if you could chose which marriage property laws would apply on these assets with a local legal professional specialized in that area of (international) family laws.
