does the UK recogonize thai marriage between british and thai

if a british man marries a thai girl in thailand is it recogonized by the uk

I believe a marriage between a British and a Thai national is recognized in the UK if you have followed the correct marriage process according to Thai law. It do not believe it needs to be registered it in the UK for it (the marriage) to be valid in the UK. I would advice to contact the British Embassy in Bangkok at least a month prior to your planned marriage date.
